Syrian mystic Myrna Nazzour In Slovakia in 2024
NAPS Institute, in cooperation with several parishes and the Congregation of Merciful Brothers in Bratislava, prepared an evangelistic tour of the Syrian mystic Myrna Nazzour in 2024. Thousands of pilgrims gathered in several places in Slovakia to hear about the events in Soufanieh – oil, apparitions, ecstasies, stigmata – and especially about messages highlighting the importance of unity and family for today’s society.
The celebration of the Eucharist in the parish of Sewen-Sorrow Lady in Bratislava – Petržalka Lúky was presided over by the Rev. Fr. Peter Repko. The local parish priest, Rev. Fr. Milan Puškar, concelebrated.
Even in 2024, the pilgrims could understand the testimonies thanks to the interpreter, Mrs. Mária Adwanová.
In the rock sanctuary of Butkov, thousands of pilgrims prayed for peace and unification. The Holy Mass was celebrated by the Bishop of Žilina, Mons. Tomáš Galis together with Archbishop Ján Babjak SJ and dozens of priests.
In the parish church in Hlohovec, a rare visit from Syria was welcomed by the local dean, the Very Rev. Fr. Jozef Schwarz. The celebration of the Eucharist was presided over by the vicar general of the Trnava Archdiocese, the Very Rev. Fr. Peter Šimko.
The Holy Mass in the Roman Catholic church in Sereď was presided over by the local dean, the Very Rev. Fr. Ján Hallon.
The Syrian mystic was welcomed by the church rector and prior P. Richard Jombík OH in the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Bratislava, which is administered by the Congregation of Merciful Brothers. The celebration of the Eucharist was presided over by P. Pius Majerovič OP.
