The NAPS Institute expresses its deepest condolences over the death of Cardinal Jozef Tomko

On the occasion of the death of His Eminence Cardinal Jozef Tomko, Prefect Emeritus of the Congregation of the Holy See for the Evangelization of Peoples, NAPS founder Peter Solej expressed his condolences to the Archbishop of the cardinal’s native diocese, Monsignor Bernard Bober.

Cardinal Jozef Tomko followed and morally supported the efforts of the NAPS Institute since its foundation in 2004. He also personally participated in the IX. NAPS International Ecumenical Concert, which in 2013 was an official event of the Meeting of the Bishops of the Eastern Catholic Churches of
Europe. The founder of NAPS had the honor of visiting the cardinal during each of his eight working trips to Rome and the Vatican.
